The final IPL 2027 squads have not been announced. The player lists below show each franchise’s latest squad pool after IPL 2026, adjusted for the completed Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav trade. Players who entered a team as temporary injury replacements are identified separately because that status does not guarantee a place in the 2027 squad.
The next major reset will come when franchises publish their retained and released player lists, followed by the IPL 2027 mini auction. Until then, any page presenting ten final squads is treating an unfinished process as settled.

The Completed Trade Already Changing Two Squads
Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants have completed the only major player exchange announced for IPL 2027 so far.

Chennai Super Kings enter the 2027 build with Ruturaj Gaikwad as their latest captain and Zaheer Khan as the new head coach. The useful question for CSK is not whether every name above will return. It is how a new coaching setup balances the experienced core with the younger batting group before the retention deadline. Delhi Capitals Squad Pool After the Pant Trade
Delhi Capitals now have Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul in the same current player pool, while Kuldeep Yadav has moved to Lucknow. Axar Patel was the latest captain, but DC have not announced their captain for IPL 2027.

Rehan Ahmed joined during IPL 2026 as a replacement for Ben Duckett. He appears here because he finished the season in DC’s active group, but his replacement status must be resolved before he can be counted as a retained 2027 player. Pant’s return also gives Delhi several wicketkeeping and leadership combinations, though the franchise has not fixed those roles for next season.
Gujarat Titans Squad Pool
Gujarat Titans retain a recognisable core built around Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Rashid Khan and a varied pace attack. Two names in the latest playing group arrived as IPL 2026 replacements and therefore need to be separated from the original contract list.

Captaincy and the exact overseas combination remain open until LSG issue their 2027 decisions.
Mumbai Indians Squad Pool
Mumbai Indians still list Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Jasprit Bumrah in their current player group. Neither Hardik nor Suryakumar has completed a move to another franchise.

Krish Bhagat replaced Atharva Ankolekar, Keshav Maharaj replaced Mitchell Santner, Mahipal Lomror replaced Quinton de Kock, and Ruchit Ahir replaced Raj Angad Bawa during IPL 2026. The strongest continuity points are the Indian batting group and the Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harpreet Brar bowling core. Overseas slots and fitness assessments may still affect the auction plan, so the pool should not be labelled Punjab’s final 2027 squad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have Pat Cummins as their latest captain and a top-order group led by Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen. Three players joined the active IPL 2026 squad as injury replacements, so their status is shown separately.

The replacement trio entered after Shivam Mavi, Jack Edwards, Brydon Carse and David Payne became unavailable at different points. SRH must decide separately whether any replacement player returns under a new 2027 contract. No Sunrisers player has completed a trade for next season so far.
What Will Turn These Pools Into Final IPL 2027 Squads
The player lists will change in a clear sequence. First, franchises will settle any further trades and submit retained and released players. Those decisions will determine available squad places and auction purses. The IPL 2027 mini auction will then fill open roles, after which late withdrawals or injuries may create replacement signings.
Under the current auction-cycle rules, a franchise squad can contain up to 25 players. A replacement does not permanently enlarge that limit, and a player who covered an injury in 2026 should not be carried into a 2027 list without a later contract decision.
Once match dates and venues are published, the IPL 2027 schedule will connect each final squad with its fixtures.
